World Peace can happen! Just believe in it …
Hi my name Sarah –Jean. I believe if we all try hard enough we can make world peace!
If you don’t think you should try too! we can make a different world, a different place for everyone to live in a safe and peaceful world .
World Peace is an ideal of freedom, Peace, and happiness among and within all nations and/or people. World Peace is an idea of planetary non-violence by which nations willingly cooperate.
If we could get world peace, we could help others have peace! No more WARS!!
Only 11 Countries in the world are currently at peace, a shocking new study has revealed. Out of 162 countries, 151 of the world’s nations are currently involved in some form of conflict. Militarily or by virtue of a system of governance that prevents warfare.
War is defined as an active conflict that has claimed more than 1,000 lives. Of the past 3,400 years humans have been entirely at peace for 268 of them, or just 8 percent of recorded history. At least 108 million people were killed in wasps in the twentieth century.
In the world’s most difficult and dangerous conflicts, local peace-builders are making a real difference. Every day they risk their lives tho build peace and prevent conflict in the places where it starts – locally.
World peace day is 21st September! In conflict areas worldwide local people are building peace. stopping violence, saving lives, healing shattered communities. These local heroes can work in places outsiders can’t reach.
And they stay long after the immediate danger has passed. They work timelessly for the future of their country because it is, quite simply, their home. Post cards for peace! The postcard is a simple and internationally recognized form of communication and an ideal way to connect like-minded people around the world.there mission is to use postcards to improve the well being of those people, around the world, whose lives are affected by violence or prejudice, by promoting change and offering hope, support and education.
Local people have the power to find their own solutions to conflict – and to build their own better futures. Together we can make this happen!! We can make WORLD PEACE
Please look at your hand for a moment. Hold it up, palm facing you. We all have five fingers, but the first we call a thumb. In appearance it looks different. It stands out. And it is strong. It represents freedom of speech, the idea that stands out, that stands up to dishonesty and corruption.
Next, look at your index finger. We point with this one. It gives us direction. It represents freedom of religion. Each of us is free to choose our own direction, with or without God, and for those who decide that God is their guide, then they are free to have their own relationship with God without the state telling them what that relationship must be. Interference by the state pollutes the relationship with God.
Third is the middle finger, the longest of all. It represents freedom from want, the long road of existence, and the certainty that there will be food, water, shelter, education, and health care for every one of us no matter where we may be on that road.
Next, for many of us, is the marriage ring finger, either the right or the left hand, and for all of us, a finger with a direct link to our nervous system. It represents freedom for the environment. Life. We all have a direct link to the Earth and the ecosystem of which we are a part. When the life of the Earth is spoiled, our lives are spoiled.
Finally, there is our “little finger,” shorter and smaller than the rest. It represents freedom from fear. It’s the “finale” of our hand, our reward. All the others lead to this one.
As you take a look at your hand and recount the Five Freedoms, remember that you didn’t ask for that hand, you were born with it. So too, you do not have to ask for the Five Freedoms, you were born with them. They are five freedoms for all!
